The video of the FISH-AI project broadcast live during the European Research and Innovation Days

The European Council for Innovation (EIC) has organized the Future Tech Week to share and explain the research projects funded under the Future and Emerging Technology (FET) program. FET projects finance the most innovative proposals and our department coordinates one, FISH-AI, which aims to develop an artificial fish intestine to identify new feeds that reduce the environmental impact of aquaculture. Fulvio Gandolfi and his colleagues from the different teams that make up the FISH-AI consortium produced a video to illustrate their idea. The video was much appreciated and was selected to be presented at the European Research and Innovation Days. This initiative was launched on an experimental basis in 2019 by the European Commission with the aim of engaging various interlocutors (e.g. citizens, companies, experts, scientists, scholars, stakeholders, end-users, policy-makers) on research and innovation topics. , inventors), also in view of the publication of the European Calls for Funding for Research and Technology Transfer foreseen by the new community programming 2021-2027.

This year’s edition will be held online from 22 to 24 September and the video of our project will appear in the session on 23 September from 3:00 pm to 5:15 pm, which includes a Ted Talk on Rachel Armstrong’s living architecture. and a discussion on the topic A Female Perspective on Robotics & IT. The video streaming in which it is included (FET projects in the energy and environment field) will be performed starting at 15:22.
