SCIENTIFIC COMMUNICATION IN PRISONS

On 20 May 2019, the LIFE VITISOM project, aimed at introducing innovative technologies for organic vineyard fertilization, was presented at the Pavia Prison. the main objectives and contents of the project were described, presenting the panorama of innovation in viticulture. The event is part of an agreement signed in 2018 between the DiSAA and the Pavia District Court aimed at the realization of a course on agricultural techniques, held by twenty teachers of the department, aimed at people in conditions of restriction in order to offer, both in theoretical and in practical terms, through open field experiences, new opportunities for prisoners for reintegration in the labour market. The project involves around 15 inmates per year and represents an interesting opportunity for dissemination of the results of scientific research.
