For several years, Condifesa has been conducting technical assistance to farms for agronomic and crop protection issues. In particular, in recent years it has focused its attention on dissemination and

application of conservation agriculture techniques in arable and livestock farms, obtaining experience in the field with farmers. For some years, Condifesa has been working on the introduction of cover crops investigating their cultivation techniques (species selection, sowing date, sowing density, and termination methods). In addition to field activities, Condifesa has always disseminated the knowledge acquired via field visits and tests, dedicated conferences, and publication of free factsheets on its website. Lorenza Michelon and Daniele Della Torre have participated in numerous research projects on various topics, with particular reference to maize.

During the seminar the two speakers will describe the activities of Condifesa Technical Service in the field of minimum tillage, cover crops and monitoring of arable crops in support to farmers, also using photos and short videos that will allow to effectively transmit their work experience to the students.
