Final conference of the LIFE FORAGE4CLIMATE project
The final conference of the LIFE FORAGE4CLIMATE PROJECT will take place on November 17th at 2.30 pm online.
The Forage4Climate Project aimed to demonstrate how the forage systems linked to milk production can contribute to the mitigation of climate change through the application of Good Practices at farm scale that allow the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and the increase of carbon sequestration in soils.
The conference will illustrate how, in 36 dairy farms in the Po Valley, Sardinia and Greece, it has been possible to achieve reductions close to 10% of the main greenhouse gases by using mitigation techniques adapted to specific farm situations.
