THE VALSAVIORE, A LAND, A COMMUNITY
The Research Centre Ge.S.Di.Mont. – UNIMONT has started a new partnership with the Mountain Community of Valle Camonica. The Mountain Community, historical partner of Unimont, has requested support in the research activities needed for the success of the project, especially for the activities related to multifunctional agriculture – including the preservation of the Adamello Blonde Goat and a sustainable development of the cultivation of small fruits, medicinal and horticultural plants. The activities are part of the bigger project “The Valsaviore, a Land, a Community”, funded by Cariplo Foundation – call “ Resilient Communities – 2017”. Specifically, Unimont will support the activities related to Action 1 and 3, headed by the Mountain Community of Valle Camonica. Scientific responsible for the activities: prof. Alberto Tamburini and Prof. Anna Giorgi – coordinator of the Ge.S.Di.Mont. Research Centre.
